You you own a lens missing form the lensfun database you can create and submit the corrections yourself so others can benefit. They do however match the camera and lens, via exif data, with a user created database of lens corrections. If deriving a single number from the local geometric distortion, the maximum distortion measured for any of the image's geometric structures is the one that is reported. Neither ART nor Rawtherapee use corrections from the camera. H is the nominal distance of the dot from the image center based on an expanded regular grid.
